Could be lots of things. What des it smell like? Dill?

Could it be fennel? Didn't taste like carrot for sure.

It doesn’t look like fennel to me. But if it were it would have a strong liquorice/aniseed smell when bruised.

I threw it out, so now way to tell now, but thanks for your input.
