Did they get sufficient water?

All the buds possibly killed by freeze/frost but not vine. However if no buds form vine will slowly die

Well, they got as much water as the vines that did leaf out. :) LOL. Actually, January through May was the wettest in 20 years—we got about 35 inches of rain in those 5 months!

OK, thanks for the heads-up. I figured that something was terribly wrong. I guess I'll just chalk these vines up as a loss then and plant a couple of new ones this fall.

Yes leave them in until fall they could sucker up from ground

Thanks—that's good to know, Kevin. I won't dig them up or anything, but I'll just keep my expectations very low. ;) In fact, I already ordered a couple of new vines of the Noble variety last night.

Are you growing for fresh or wine/jelly? Had a very wet winter as well here in north Georgia
