You really only have room for artwork on the walls. You could keep it simple or do gallery style on one side (I wouldn’t do gallery style on each side, I think it’d make the area feel more narrow). And of course a runner, if you’d like. Changing the light fixture would add some pizazz, too.

Hallways like this are a bit awkward. We have one like it that leads to the back bedroom that has become our home gym. It doesn't feel quite right to me to have artwork "competing" on each side, so I've tried to use larger pieces and sort of stagger them so they're not right across from each other. We do have a slightly awkward hallway that feeds into the really awkward hallway, and we've hung a large mirror there. It helps a bit to visually expand the space, although I often have a "holy carp!" moment when I pass by right after an early morning treadmill run and see the horror that I look like.

Thank u for your ideas as well. Truly hard to decided since it is an awkward hallway.
