Plumerias and Buddleias

last modified: 6 years ago

It can be hard for me to get plumerias to bloom every year because I have limited direct sun. Fortunately, I've been able to store and start them in spare greenhouse space at work. I've brought the blooming ones home to enjoy here!

California Sunset, from Jungle Jack's. Smells like ripe peaches

Inca Gold. Also from J.J. Almost the same fragrance as Celadine!

Pink Pansy. There's tuberose in this perfume

Halo, a near dwarf from J.J. The fragrance is erratic. Yesterday, in the low 90's heat, it smelled vaguely like candy. Today, in the mid 70's, nothing!

Buddleia Miss Molly. She's 8' tall! One of the newer, mostly sterile varieties.

Mostly, but not entirely sterile. This is a seedling I refer to as Molly's Daughter. I almost like her more! Both smell like a sweet wine...

One more plumeria. This is Veracruz Rose. It does smell like some roses, but not like a classic, Damask scented rose. It's spicier!

That's all for now!
