Take your cue from what's already going on in adjacent rooms. A rug, throw pillow, piece of art. If you can show me some of that, I will give you plenty of concrete options.

Great responses so far - IKAT is great, so are stripes - lots of colours to choose from too. Go online or out shopping at fabric stores & find a print you love with several different colours in it, and you can use those colours to make your room pop!

pops of color are overrated imho ;) maybe a wood jute roman shade. it'll keep the peace and make everything else pop more, like your awesome light fixtures. then add color with accessories on your open shelving and counters if you want.

A cotton or cotton/poly blend, something lightweight that folds easily. If you are having them made, ask the fabricator about railroading the fabric (they will know what this is). This makes the folds especially easy to maintain if you are opening and closing them. (And me too, I love pops of color - adds life and personality. So tired of seeing beige on beige.)
