I recently started painting my kitchen cabinets with a polystain the Product is rustoleum varathane in the color jacobean. I love the color but the product is horrible to work with. I would never recommend it but I’m too deep into it now. So far I’ve painted the frames which is fine because the door will cover majority of the flaws. Now I’m considering using a gel stain for the doors with a polyuerthane on top. Does anyone know of a gel stain color and brand that would be close to the Jacobean color? help!! Thank you!
