Plumbing Design Dilemma Bathrooms

Help to create a bathroom

Hi everyone!
We are looking to create an ensuite out of 3ft of borrowed living room wall and compressing the current main bath. Wondering peoples thoughts on minimum comfortable space for a 3 pc bathroom, and layout, if working with approximate measure of 4 x 8. Other main bath will remain 5 x 12 with a knockout for a 4 x 8 closet that shares the wall (maybe eats 2 ft into the bathroom "hallway" at the door). Curious to know people's opinions! The bathrooms would be back to back to share the waterline.

5 by 8 feet is comfortable. The new bathroom should be in scale with the rest of the house, though.

The location of the window and door has an impact on where you can put the elements in the room, therefore it is hard to say how much space you need. Also, do you need a tub or can it be a shower. A shower offers more options for layouts as it does not need to be 60"x30"
