How about white sconces?

If you're hesitant to add another metal, brushed brass is fairly neutral and will complement most other metals. Otherwise, a black and white sconce could look lovely to add the pop of black you're looking for while still contrasting against the dark blue. Best of luck!

Thank you. I’m looking up brushed brass sconces.

I was also considering white, but don’t like the “painted “ look. Are there any without metal parts that look traditional/ttanditional ( my house is from 1927)

It's hard to tell without photos.
