I know this is a curious question. My roma tomatoes got horrible, fast-moving leaf spot this year. But they've put out a ton of tomatoes. Even when romas are red, they aren't necessarily "ripe" yet. I'd like to leave mine on the plant as long as possible......but......there's hardly any leaves left. Do they even need leaves to "ripen on the vine"? Thanks.
