There is nothing wrong with some empty space hang a piec of art and be done.

I was going to also say, nothing there, just a piece of art.

I would do an interesting wall mirror with a small - med plant/plant stand under it. I think both would look lovely next to the light from the window, and (the plant) bring an organic element to the room.

I tried to mock it up ... sorry, it stinks. 😆

I'd leave it empty for a while and see how you feel. You are probably just used to seeing something there. What is on the wall to the left of that door? Can you take a pic of that side of room?
