HU-121936772 The cabinets were custom made by a cabinet maker here in Mexico, but it was based on a photo I found on Houzz, which showed mid-brown cabinets. (Lost that photo or I'd share it here.) The glossy white really shows the diamond pattern more cleanly.

Am still loving this kitchen. Love the extra thick wall and the casement window at the end of the kitchen. Also, love that you kept the open shelving. Can't wait to see how your bedroom turns out.

Dawn Martinez, yes, I'm in the town of San Miguel de Allende and there are terrific craftspeople here. . Norwood Architects - The thick walls (more than 2 feet in some places) are quite old and fun to work with

Stunning kitchen!

The marble sink was custom made from slab pieces. If you go that route, make sure the fabricator provides ienough slope toward the drain so that the sink is easier to clean. The interior on mine is right angles, and I wouldn't do that again.

Your sink front looks much more in tune with the rest of the kitchen in the new color, but honestly, I'm impressed that you changed any of it. It was lovely before, but now, wow. I'm always a little afraid to touch something that is at least 75% good and try for 100%. Yours was 95% and you got a 100%! (Can you tell I used to be a teacher?)
