chandelier size?

Hi. We have an open two story staircase and want to add a chandelier. Total height is 24', first floor is 10', second floor is 12'. The second floor landing is curved out into the space. Wayfair says to add the dimensions of the "room" in feet and that's the how many inches wide the chandelier should be. We just don't know if it should be the "squared" dimensions of the stairwell opening, the narrowest part from the stair railing to the curved landing railing, or some other zone like stair wall to landing wall. The chandelier we are looking at has two sizes. Are either workable for this space? I believe I also read the chandelier base should line up with the top of the second floor railing so you look straight out at the fixture.

Approximate dimensions of opening : 265" (from second floor wall to closest railing) x 80" (from stair railing to closest part of the curved landing railing)
