I recently had new white oak flooring installed. We went with oil stain and 3 coats of poly for the finish. The stain is Medium Brown by Duraseal. After being away for a week, we came home and found bubbles in the floor. I contacted the flooring finisher and they came back to screen and re-coat. The screening knocked down the bubbles but they are still visible in the poly.

I’m concerned that the issue may be between the stain and 1st poly layer because they applied stain and 1st poly coat on the same day.

i know the duraseal stain is supposed to dry quickly, but is it acceptable to poly over it the same day it was put down?
