I bought my first house last year. Some of the colors needed updating oc course but all the colors meet at one small hall and we dont know what color to tie them together. The downstairs entryway and up the stairs is a light but bright earthy green, the bathroom at the top of the stairs is a dark red, a bedroom at one end is brown with red accents and at the other end rust orange and tan. The trim is all slightly off white and there is a small hallway connecting these with light tan carpeting. The colors are all earthy so a tan would be a neutral transition but when I tried it blended too much with the rug....we can't agree on what to do! The green doesn't show up right in pictures. It's more a cactus green.
