Sorry couldn't attach a picture to my original post. I thought it might be a bluebell plant when moved from another place when we moved to this place but obviously not.

Thanks for responding Hoosier. We have had the coldest, wettest summer in an already wet climate (think rain forest) in many years. I have been blaming that on the late blooming which was just last week. Would you need a better picture of the whole plant or just the flower? I'll try to post a better picture tomorrow if it'snot raining ☔. I would be ecstatic if this was not Fulva Europa.

I notice there there is an extra petal on the blooms in two of your images . I have had fulva Europa growing here for over 30 years . Never seen a single bloom with extra petals. Also your plant looks to be short and Fulva Europa is not short . To show you what another daylily that is similar to F. Europa , here is Salmon Pagoda

( quite similar both in height and coloring) . An easy way to check if your plant is F.Europa would be to dig it up . F. Europa is stoloniferous ( spreads by roots not seeds) or wait to see if your plant develops seed pods . If it does, it is not F.Europa (you could try crossing your plant with another daylily pollen. Fulva will not develop seed pods ( or at least extremely rarely )

I would be interested to know how tall your plant is and if it is planted in a location where it gets full sun for 6 hours a day

Just a side note there are three other fulvas. there is Fulva Kwanza , (grows more than the 6 normal petals3/sepals on Fulva Europa i.e. a second full layer of petals , Fulva Kwanza flore pleno, i.e grows 3 layers of petals , and Varigated leaf Fulva . .

Also if you look at Hoosier Nan's image , the petals are much more orange than yours . Yours almost appear to be somewhat "greyed" out . It could be from all your rain or it could indicate that your plant is not F. Europa
