Autumn Fire Root/Stem Rot

last modified: 6 years ago

Out of all the perennials I have I am surprised the only one I have issues with is Autumn Fire sedum.

There is some kind of stem or root rot.

Oddly I have nine of them intermixed within a planting bed and all of them are affected.

They were planted last year and I wonder if the nursery had issues with their crop to begin with.

I really like this plant intermixed with the other plants in this location. Is it possible this disease will remain in the soil? Looking to replant new plants next year.

This is a Southeast exposure with very well drained soil. I have dwarf firs in this location to give you an idea of the drainage.
