Baby Charms quilt

I had several print charm squares (I think from someone on this forum) and a package of red, green & cream squares that were a gift. I also cut a bunch of brown batik charms for a guild swap, then I ended up not attending the meeting. I was looking for a quick project and put them all together into this baby quilt called Baby Charms. It's about 48" square. The colors are not great due to lighting in the room. The border is an aqua flannel with multicolored dots.

It always feels so good to use up bits and pieces and turn them into a quilt for someone to love. Good job, Donna.

You are so right, Donna. I've had several friends who have come over, and when they look at a certain quilt, you can just tell that they love it and connect with it. And I love the look on their faces when I say, "Then it's yours."

I have gotten to be more scrappy in the past year or so, trying to use up what I have in my stash and not buy any new fabric. I have managed to put a pretty good dent into my stash and gotten more creative with the scrap pieces I've saved. It's always nice to see a quilt that uses up fabrics you didn't really have a place for until then. Well done, Donna!
