Can anyone recommend a good compact serviceberry variety?

I'm looking to fill a gap in my garden that used to be dominated by oxeye daisy. I'd love to plant something native, and am leaning toward a serviceberry bush. In an old house, I had one that was more of a tree variety, and the berries weren't very tasty either. I am looking for the perfect combo of yummy fruit, compact growth form, and somewhat well-behaved (I know some varieties form colonies). Thanks!
