It is Carrara Bianco and a very good grade. I hope this comment will help a few consumers gain some knowledge when buying Carrara Bianco. As the largest supplier of Carrara in North America we feel the need to assist and pass on some knowledge. In what is sometimes, with it's terms and shading a challenging industry.

This has also been edged with Nero Marquina 5/8" or 1x1" Hexagon. I would say 60% of all our Nero Marquina is cut up and used as borders for our Carrara collections.

Bianco Carrara is available in different grades. Companies and major distributors can purchase direct from Italian quarries. It is not easy. Most have long term relationships or need operations in Europe like ourselves.

The Grading is where it gets tricky and consumers without knowledge can be mislead. It it s the whiter based clear veined tile that is the most sought after and least available. The gray cloudy tile is everywhere, all over the USA and sold from $5SF and up.

We sell our premium Bianco Carrara 12x12" for $8.00SF. The Competitor selling the gray tile was selling it for $15.00SF.
