Hi, I have a deep well pump that pumps the water to an attic holding tank, which uses a float switch to "tell" the pump to turn on or off.
I don't have a pressure tank installed, but would adding a pressure control switch protect the well pump from possible dry running?
Or would the pressure switch go into the "off" position every time the pump finishes filling the attic tank?
I mean because the pressure switch would detect the loss of pressure just when the pump turns off?
