Every home needs some negative space. I think it looks good as it is unless you have artwork or pictures on the other side of the mirror. You could put a floor lamp there.

What empty space are you referring to? The small snippet of the room is not enough to base an answer on.

Where is the empty space? If it’s between the mirror and the plant it’s breathing space imo.

Not a pro: it looks ok, I don’t like to have something on every wall in my home. I like a wow piece per room whether it’s a mirror, rug, piece of furniture and then I cautiously decorate around the WOW piece
