The family room from entry way

First before the foyer why on earth do you have the TV above the FP when you have perfectly good wall space for the TV. As for the foyer can you post the actual measurements of the space

How about a large painting on one side and a long table to put keys and a mirror on top ......on the other ......do you need a door to separate the long hallway ...or does it not get cold where you are ....
