If it was a healthy plant I would just cut them off, but right now I would preserve every tiny scrap of green chlorophyll you can. The plant can also use the water, and other nutrients out of those stalks to help keep itself alive. I would wait until you have at least one more big healthy leaf.

Btw, that plant is overpotted for that size and that type of soil, so it is very susceptible to overwatering right now. Be very careful with your watering. :)

its stressed... i dont fert stressed plants.. until they settle down ...

i suggest you just water it properly ... and ignore it for a month.. and see how it settles down ..

it is not uncommon to remove leaves when a plant is very stressed.. but leave the petiole.. the stem.. as it can still process light to make energy for the plant ...

as soon as you see another new leaf.. you can pretty much presume its settled down.. and back to business ...
