Floating Fireplace

Any ideas on how to balance out the floating fireplace. I'm thinking of framing it in so that it goes all the way down to ground level. I know the brick needs to be painted but I'm afraid that won't fix the fireplace issue. Please and thank you!

The brick does not need to be painted but IMO the siding is the wrong color. Is this the entry or the back of the house ? I need more info . Yes landscaping will help a lot but if this is the back of the house IMO a huge deck would be great.

@Patricia Colwell Consulting, it is the front of the house. Would you recommend going darker on the paint? Maybe pull a color from the brick? Thanks for your feedback - much appreciated!

Get a garden designer to plan landscaping that will enhance the house and camouflage that fireplace. Sage would be a great color for the house or, as you suggest, a dark shade of one of the bricks but light enough so there's contrast with the trim.
