How tall are the nightstands? The mirrors should be about 3/4 the width of the nightstands and be about even with the top of the headboard.

They are 22 Inches high, which would only leave me a little less than 2 ft for a mirror once I hang it, since the headboard is so low .

I suggest you consider two round mirrors above the stands, about 2/3 diameter compared to their width, hung about eight inches above them -- hard to say what would be ideal without seeing them in place, head on. And the height and style of your lamps would affect the height at which you should hang them. I'm thinking round to set off the geometric lines of the bed and stands, and probably of the art frame too..Then, yes, you could certainly consider art over the bed too. Once you get the furniture in place, I would experiment with some poster board cut to different sizes to see what might look best. Did you want to add artwork or something above the bed?
