Townhouse facing East/west. This area gets the direct morning sun. We are willing to replace the vertical blinds and go with updated options. If we did curtain panels on family room windows what height would be best? Should we put curtains on the slider at the same height? Would the drapes go to the floor to be consistent with slider?

Help!!! We will need to be thrifty as it’s prob a 2/3 year stop before purchasing another house.
