could this be a place to inject some color?

@davee, you need inspiration images! Google images of kitchens with white cabinets and quartz counters that you like. They will give you some great ideas. The classic options would be glazed ceramic tile in a white that matches your cabinets or a gray that matches the veining in your counter.

I also have white cabinets with Silestone Calcutta. I’ll be putting in a light gray 3x12 subwaybtile.

Beautiful kitchen! Can you tell us what kind of countertop you chose, and who made your cabinets? I think some color in the backsplash would be nice, even a pale color if you don’t want anything too bold. I‘ve also seen tile with metal accents that would look quite nice if you want to stay in the white range. Enjoy your new space!

the countertop is quartz, calcutta gold from silestone. cabinets were redone by a refacing company in the Toronto area. we left the original cabinets and changed the doors, side panels, trim, drawers and hardware

Great job in refinishing! Your quartz countertop is beautiful. Thanks for your reply!
