The panoramic of the room makes it difficult to assess the wall in question. There's a lot of furniture in this room and I'd downsize some of it.

All windows should have the same window treatment.

I'm assuming that you really need all that seating in the room, because the room would look better with less. The gold chairs look as if they're in a hallway space between the 2 rooms.

If you need it all, replace the carpet with a larger one so that all rug goes at least halfway under all the seating. Could you remove the ottoman since you seem to have a lot of end tables? Move your 2 pictures as a pair above the sofa. Repeat the gold colour in pillows. Clear off the mantle and add one low colour-coordinated item.

The space you suggested is too small for the TV and the fireplace switch is there as well. That is why the TV is mounted above the fireplace.

I ran out of fabric that was bought overseas that's why the roman blinds is different from the French pleats.

I moved the chairs from another room because I need it until WFH ends.

Do you think this lamp would work?
