It is so hard to find and maintain good quality clothing these days! In an effort to prolong the life of clothing, I would appreciate your suggestions on how to keep light colored clothing from graying or fading in the wash, particularly cotton or cotton blends. Of course I sort my laundry, would never wash jeans with light pastel cotton/cotton blends. Is Woolite a dependable detergent for maintaining the finish and color? The Laundress? Everything has mixed reviews. 😬 I use liquid Tide Free and Gentle, Dark Woolite for colors, Oxi White Revive powder and occasionally Color Catchers. Never use fabric softener or dryer sheets. Never ever use bleach. Rarely Borax and a Lemishine booster when the clothing has terrible odors, like athletic apparel. Does anything really prevent pilling, some products claim to put a damper on pilling. Thanks in advance for your help!
