bathroom wallpaper

I’m thinking of revamping this bathroom by putting up some wallpaper and changing the medicine cabinet/mirror. I have been stuck in terms of what wallpaper pattern to buy. Should I go for a lighter or darker tone wallpaper? Any suggestions would be highly appreciated

wallpaper is such a commitment! Plus, I'm not sure how well it will hold up in a bathroom with a shower. I would think all the humidity would make the seams curl.

Thanks Melissa! I was thinking about also maybe doing a stencil on the wall because of this

Four years ago we redid our master bathroom. The wallpaper we took down (which was very neutral fortunately) was up there for 21 years. It never curled. We had a guy who knew what he was doing hang the paper and we always used the shower fan.

Love the black and white wallpapers, look so effective and you would have to use much wallpaper. Have fun

I love wallpaper! Your choice would depend on your home's style and your preference. Here are some suggestions:

Something that would contrast with your white fixtures and tile would look great.

love the black and white suggestion! you can do so much with it in terms of accent colors.

Leopard, zebra or koi, in a bold color choice, would also look amazing. (the zebra/koi come in many diff colors.)

Or, what if you painted the walls a dramatic color?

this is similar to yours. you could do a black mirror and if possible, switch you light over to some cool sconces. (not these, but something a bit modern/industrial)

or just get a new vanity light. I love this one from west elm. (see wood medicine cab below)

    Tried to photoshop something.....

you could also do a black or navy ceiling, bright white walls,

and bring in bold color towels or art.

peacock blue wall and ceiling. your ceilings are tall enough so you could carry this off OK.

this is PB recessed medicine cab. I like any metal finish. (black would work if you're going w/the black and white paper

west elm has this one in wood or silver

I happen to like the blues you have with the art what is that on the right just out of the camera ? First make sure the lighting is LED in 4000K so that what ever colors you choose will be true.A couple more pics of the space would also help. These are a couple that might work too. A good install is a must and of course good venting used all the time

I love modern wallpaper but based on the craftsman style of your glass door, I would go for something more classic like this:

Thanks all for the great suggestions. The black and white is definitely the number one contender for me and I like the idea of painting the walls, ceilings as well. But I should mention that I don’t have a house style decided on yet because this is our first home ever and before that we just lived in a small condo so we will have to buy all new furniture. This definitely gives me some great ideas! Appreciate all the help

Before deciding on anything, I would solidify your style first, for the bathroom but more importantly for the entire house.
