i think it is extremely stressed.. from too much love.. and needs to be left alone in a bright but not direct sun spot... for at least a month ...

the new soil is a good idea.. but thats only going to stress it more .. if i were to do anything.. i might put it in a bigger pot.. as is.. with the new soil just surrounding the plug as it is ...

if some cacti expert comes along and says otherwise.. go with what they say ...

and if you just got it.. perhaps it was injured before you got it ...???
