Does the sun come in and you need a shade? A cordless cell blind would be the best.

The tile is lovely. (if you have more tile and time... add it over the toaster! I know it's not needed but that spot looks lonely)

If anything, maybe some cordless bamboo/woven wood shades would look great here! Keep in mind of your depth if your looking for inside mount window treatments though! Typically you need at least an inch and a half!

I agree for something simple. I like the idea of bamboo.

A faux roman or other shade that just covers the view of the porch roof since that is what makes the window a bit ugly.

I would not do window coverings here. The design is meant to be simple and unadorned and the wood casing around the window is the jewel.

I put sheer curtains on my kitchen window and tied them back. For Christmas the tie backs are poinsettias, for spring, greenery and for this fall I have gold colored cord for tiebacks. my window faces south but has a covered patio on the back so not a lot of direct sunlight.

Since you hate the dated look of your cabinets and are bound to replace them at some point, have you thought about painting the white something not so stark. You may like living with your kitchen more until you get the funds to replace them.
