That would be too much for me.

I assume he could refit the drawers by moving the runners so that the gap is closed. He'd then need to do something at the bottom. Maybe a replacement for the bottom drawer. That seems better than reordering a complete set of facings.

Not the best angle to see, but I think you can discern that there wasn’t space like this. I expect maybe a bit more space bc the new facings have a lovely and distinctive blue edging that should be seen, but the current spacing feels like too much for me.

If he moved the runners up, would the old holes be visible when the drawers are opened?

I don't think so. I am assuming he would move the runners within the cabinet, not adjust the way the drawer is fixed to the runners.

What type of edge is on the new drawer fronts? Is it glass?

No, just a pretty blue gray.

Instead of the white with a slight grain being continued around the edging, it’s a pretty blue gray. I love that it’s exposed, and I’m sure it’s supposed to be. But I don’t care for quite this large a gap, esp up close.
