Hi Erika! Ok, I have upload several pictures to walk you through this. Excuse the hand drawings, but I did this quickly because I knew if I did just get it done I would never do it :)

First photo is a close up of the hanging portion of the artwork. You need a vintage hook, vintage pulley and manila hemp rope from Home Depot. Below is a link for 3/8" thickness but if you can get thicker I love the look of that better.

The next photo show the hardware you need (I labeled this "A"). This is a metal U-bolt from Home Depot. You need four small size and 2 large size. The two "small size" is to squeeze two ends of the rope together tightly so the actual size of the U-bolt will depend on your rope thickness. When you are shopping for the "small size" U-bolt you want to be able to string two lengths of your rope through it and then be able to tighten it so that they will not budge.

The "large size" U-Bolt will attach to your canvas as shown in the next photo (B). This U-bolt can be up to 4" wide and will basically create a loop attached to the artwork so that you can string the rope through it. You need to drill four holes into the the frame of your art canvas, put the U-bolt through and bolt it on the bottom.

Once you have two lare U-bolts attached to the art frame you string the rope through as per the last photo and use the small U-bolts at the ends of the rope to secure it. In the photo I numbered where the U-bolts are used. This is better than tying knots because with knots the artwork will not hang straight.

I hope this helps and is not confusing! Next time I will film a video when we do something like this!
