Looks like a form of azalea leaf spot but to correctly identify, you need to send a sample to your agriculture extension service/Univ of Florida. In the mean time, try to maintain the environment such that it is not humid (as best as you can; cannot help it if it rains), dispose of the leaves in the trash when they fall, fertilize as needed since your soil is probably sandy and deficient in some minerals, do not have plants nearby touching, do not overwater, make sure the plant gets morning sun and adequate soil moisture (no overhead watering of leaves). There are some fungicides available out there but it would help if the one you use is rated useful for this problem (if it is indeed leaf spot). The sparse foliage and the spots may be stealing vigor from the plant or the azalea could be needing more sun/food/water due to shady, sandy or dry/wet soil conditions:
