Usually you only want one star and the granite is a busy granite.

My husband and I are like you in our tastes, and we both love the back splash tile on the right. It works really well with the colors in your granite. Of course, we are not a fan of white subway, lol.

If you want color I’d look for a green glass tile like in the backsplash to the right and go with that, in a regular subway size. You can always add copper accents like bowls, light fixtures, etc., but I agree with Memphis, either one of those are way too busy paired with that granite. It might look good in one small sample of it but a huge kitchen full of it might get a bit crazy 😜

I think both look dated already and too busy with your granite. I would pick a single solid color from the granite....but not the brown, the green glass in the one on the right looks nice if it was all that and one /size simple design

Thank you so much for the input, I agree the granite should be the star! I like the idea of picking up the green tone from the granite and using larger tiles!
