Potting Jasmine with Flowering Maple (and succulent?)

I'd like to pot Arabian Jasmine with Trailing Abutilon (a.k.a. Chinese Lantern Plant, Flowering Maple, Brazilian Bellflower) and maybe a succulent.


I would bring it indoors in the winter, and onto a sunny patio in the summer (zone 8). Is there any reason this wouldn't work? I could water the Jasmine from below if necessary.
