a floorplan with dimensions would help.
you might consider putting the tv on the wall with the small windows. make the column into the end of a seating counter with bar stools. you may be able to do two rows of seating depending on the dimensions. theater seats are fun. you could do a shuffleboard table along the wall your TV is on now, depending on length.

Ok, you could probably make that into your wet bar then, as long as you want a walk-up bar, not a seated bar. A seated bar needs about 11 feet of width (min).
