I just wondered if you got any data on this question, because we are considering a modular too.

We are building a home and were going to go with modular. Our builder uses ICON and really likes them. He used to use Ritzcraft as well but doesn't anymore, I don't particularly know why, he said they were good homes, I think it was easier for him to streamline. We were doing a custom floor plan with ICON. However due to the pandemic the factories are backed up so he is going to stick build our home instead at the same price quoted for the modular.

We had friends who were in the process of having a modular home built last Winter/Spring and the factories were shut down for quite some time. Their move in date got pushed back 6 months. I am not sure of the modular manufacturer. They used www.millbrookhomes.com They have been living in the home since early Nov and love their home. We saw it when it was set on the lot but not completely finished inside. It was really nice.

We fell in love with a Ritzcraft floor design, Amanda, but it ended up not fitting on our lot. (We have some wetlands so there are set backs) Sadly we figured this out after the plans were ordered.
