We just purchased a beach cottage and will need to replace the siding and windows. I'd appreciate ideas on the paint colors, windows, balcony, and staircase. I am leaning towards the modern farmhouse look with white Hardie panel siding and black windows, but I don't know what to do for the staircase, balcony, or brick trim.
