i doesnt look like miners to me.. but i dont grow this plant ...

no plant holds all its leaves forever .. and this does look like the oldest.. perhaps it is just getting ready to shed one.. and getting ugly in the process ....

with the declination of the sun its usually a trigger for this process to start ... but i dont know where you are ... or whether the sun is going in decline ...

how about a little more background on the plant ...

Hi! This is. pretty much the whole plant (the fourth leaf has cut short when I got it. Glad to hear it doesn't look like miners, I've heard such a variety of opinions. I'm just heading into fall so it could be shedding leaves. (I'm not sure though, I'm pretty new to Anthurium).

I just got the plant a month or so ago, It sit about a foot back from a SE window. It hangs in an Orchid box with typical orchid mixture. The roots are overall very similar to those of orchids. The humidity is evenly 55-60% and temp stays high 60s. Am I forgetting anything helpful?

i would apply indoor systemic: it looks like some sort of feeding of insects. may be thrips? they feed inside the leaves.

i use Bonide indoor systemic, it has a much lower dosage then outdoor formulations.

so you might need to apply it several times. If you keep your plant outdoors then you can use outdoor systemic. ...it looks to me that your plant is outdoors and in very coarse bark mix. the granules of systemic will just migrate down or outside the slats of the basket and much less will absorbed. so it might not be as effective.
