When an ideabook is shared and you give them ability to edit the ideabook, they will be able to change your ideabook name and any other settings that you have for that ideabook.

In your situation, the best personal recommendation I have is to title each client's ideabook by their residence or something that you can relate to them (you can title it by their name as well, though keep in mind if the ideabook is a public one and not private, others will be able to view their name).

I see - the problem is they shared their ideabooks with me so unless they give me admin permission I can't change the name of it. In the future I will create the ideabooks by client name and share them with my clients. thanks for the tip!
