I'm not crazy about thick skins either. I haven't grown Pork Chop, but I did grow Jaune Flammee one year and found it very tart.

I don't grow late varieties either. Our season is just too short.

I did grow Bloody Butcher and Matina this year and liked them both. I like Stupice too. I prefer sweet tomatoes.

If you don't mind small tomatoes, Maglia Rosa has 2" bullet-shaped pearly pink tomatoes that are delicious. Last year, the taste was the best out of everything that I grew! I start some in mid-Feb and get ripe fruit in mid June. I grow them in 3-gallon containers, but some people grow them in hanging baskets. They can go in the garden too, but it's easy to bring the pots inside the house if the temperature drops.

I also like Blush which is similar to Maglia Rosa, but yellow. It's also bigger, so I grow it in the ground in a tomato cage.

Sungold F1 is an early orange cherry that everyone loves.

A large fruited tomato that is very early for its size is EM Champion. It's a large red heart that is early, compact and determinate. Taste is sweet, although it does have an acid kick.

Anna Russian is another tasty, sweet, pink heart that is quite early.

I'm rather fond of Jaune Flamme, it's my favorite yellow/orange for drying. I don't have thick skin problems with it either usually. Though it gets hot here in the summer. it isn't so hot that my tomatoes get the sun scorch or thick skins. I'm usually fairly good with the watering too, so that helps.
