What are the floors and why quartz at all , IMO polished granite is hands down a better counter material and there are some really nice white granites. I think the look of marble is just that, a fake marble that can’t handle a hot pot or be used behind a cooking appliance . I think if you love aged brass then do the hardware in it it will be fine with the stainless .

The floors are medium brown oak hardwood and to be honest I never considered polished granite but am certainly willing to look into it!

If you do decide to go with quartz you may want to check out Cambria Ironstone. We have classic gray on our living area walls and it looks lovely with it. No good pics of that unfortunately since that area is still a major construction zone, but here is a pic of it in our master bath (with BM sleigh bells)...
