Wandering Stitchers 10/10

Today was bitter sweet, our last day here. Sharon finished another Rail Fence top and made more Log Cabin blocks.

Jennifer finished Ribbon Candy, pinned her Double Wedding Ring, and started a Scrappy Flying Geese Log Cabin top.

Char worked hard on her Scrap Magnet blocks.

Jackie got borders on her blue string quilt, and put together a red one.

I worked on the Packing Materials top.

Sharon won the LRC game again tonight.

I want to go to Las Vegas with Sharon!

What a productive retreat for all of you. I'm impressed. Such lovely quilts.

The quilts are all beautiful. It would be fun to have a video of you busy bees working. Reality quilting. LOL All these pics make me want to get into my quilting room, although I'm trying to take a break.

Obviously a suggestion too late now but maybe we could have had a virtual retreat. We (I) could have sewn along. Lord knows I need some inspiration to get back to the machine.

I am glad you all had a good time together and were so productive.

I do have one question. What, why, is that little pig on the table? 🐷

Holy cow, you ladies are productive! My attention span isn’t that long lol. It looks like you all had a great time.

Theresa, the little pig holds the salt and pepper shakers for us.

Aha! I had another thought about the virtual retreat. The snacks and treats wouldn’t have been as good!!

You all did an amazing job knocking out the quilts! I could have joined in on the virtual retreat ... at least a few days of it this year. Somehow, LRC wouldn't be the same.

I don't remember that piggy but he sure is cute!

How about a Zoom virtual quilt retreat in February? Not doing much else then.

This eagle has landed back in S. Illinois. Thank you to Beverly, Jackie, Sharon & Jennifer for making this newcomer feel very welcome! I had a great time and hope to attend again next year!

Glad you made it safely home. It was so nice to have you join us and hope you come back next year.

I love how Char did the shading using her background fabric. And Jen's Ribbon Candy quilt sure looks sweeeeet. Beverly and Jackie were really productive in making those strip blocks. I kind of cheated and had all the blocks made before I got there. I still have 3 sets in my luggage plus a 'few' more orphan blocks to play with. lol Thank you, Jackie.

Char it was great having you at retreat. I am glad you enjoyed yourself. Hopefully you can make it next year.

Jennifer, could you post a close up of the Scrappy Flying Geese Log Cabin block? The patterns looks so intricate and the pieces so small. I just can't get a good look. It's a very pretty block.
