Help Selecting Right Kitchen Table for Space

Please help me determine the best table for this space (to the right of the island). There are 10 feet between the edge of the island and the wall. It is an awkward space and I need seating for 5 people on a regular basis.

A 48 inch round table would fit in the space for sure, but will this be too tight and uncomfortable for 5 adults? Could a 54 or 60 inch round table fit?

I think I'd go for a small rectangular table and have a bench seat on the wall side so the seating takes up less space. Get a 54" to 60" long table that's no more than 30"-32" wide. You'll need to be able to have a walkway between the chairs on the island side and the island itself. Have whoever is doing the plan for you drop in a table to scale so you can see which is the correct size.
