Roses In The House -- 107 Degrees.

It's not that all that much is blooming right now, but most of what IS -- is being cooked. It hit 107 degrees, at mid-day, here, where I can see the ocean in the far distance. That's insane.
When it was already in the 90's, I went out and picked buds, to open in the house . . . "Jesse Hildreth," 'Lady Ann Kidwell', and "Elisabeth's China," because that was what at least had buds, and I knew all of them would open in a vase.
'Mme. Lambard' opened outside . . .
Blessedly, the wind has turned, and the temperature has dropped -- 20 degrees.
