My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

simple budget kitchen remodel

Hello all. I’m sharing the before and after a of my little project. The after pics were taken at night. The space generally gets a decent amount of light in the day. Here’s what we had done:

  • Flooring
  • Appliances (yes I will take the plastic off the fridge. Was waiting for the painting to be finished and dried)
  • new upper cabinet doors
  • paint cabinets
  • paint walls
  • new hardware
  • replace hinges
  • new window treatment
  • replace faucet

I wanted a new sink. I ordered a beautiful black single basin. But unfortunately it was too big. So I’m on the hunt for another.
Walls are Agreeable gray, cabinets are Thunderous. Hardware from Home Depot. Artwork from my parents basement. Lol

Everything came to about $10k
I still need to find outlet covers to go where the marble backsplash is. I found some marble outlets covers that are also Calcutta gold. I’m thinking that’s probably the nest option? Thanks for letting me share.
