Another bathroom tile question

I have a 66” vanity, sink is on the left side (not centered) and a large lighted (36”x42”) mirror is over sink (so not centered over the vanity). On the Opposite side of the room is a 99” vanity, sink is centered with same lighted mirror above. The way the room is situated, the mirrors and sinks are directly across from each other.

I had wanted a short (4” high) glass subway or glass mosaic tile backsplash atop the vanities, sort of an accent that’ll bring in other colors being used.. But as I search for ideas I’m not seeing ANY photos of short backsplashes in bathrooms., esp glass. They all seem to start at the counter then go up to at least the top of (if not above all the way to the ceiling) mirror.

Can I do a sort of “panel” of the glass above both vanity sinks but not cover either entire wall? I’d put 2 sconces on the longer wall, 1 on the shorter wall on the right of the glass. Id share photos if I could find some!
