Was hanging my mammoth sunflower heads to dry in basement...my husband was afraid of critters so covered them with a plastic bag😳. They have started to mold,,,had white fuzz on them...wondering if I can salvage these...I scraped the fuzz off and they look ok ...they were covered for a week...have the dehumidifier full speed ahead and well as a fan to circulate air...honestly, I could buy a bag of seeds next yr for$2.00,,but want to feed the birds and repopulate my garden !!
